Musandam / Khasab Extension

Early morning transfer to Muscat airport (in case of morning flight) to board your flight to Khasab.​

Arrive in Khasab @ 0850 hrs. and proceed to visit Khasab city ​

Visit Khasab fort built by the Portuguese in the 16th Century. The castle features rooms displaying the local culture and traditions. After finishing the visit, we drive to Wadi Tawi to see the pre-historic rock carvings depicting camels, ships, warriors, etc.​

Later check-in at the hotel (Atana Musandam or Atana Khasab)​

Afternoon proceed on a half-day mountain safari in a 4WD vehicle.​

Drive to Jebel Harim, the highest mountain in Musandam (2087M). En route stop at ‘Sayh’ village, located at 1100 M above sea level. From the Khawr Al Najid view, the splendid coastline spread with turquoise blue waters lapping the shores.​

Following breakfast, you will be transferred to Khasab Port, where you will embark on an unforgettable full-day dhow cruise through the mesmerizing fjords of Musandam. This cruise will take you on a journey of exploration, allowing you to visit quaint fishing villages and experience the renowned Telegraph Island. ​

During the cruise you'll have the opportunity to enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the clear and inviting waters of the Gulf of Oman. Whether you're a seasoned snorkeler or a beginner, this isa perfect chance to explore the vibrant underwater world of the Musandam region.​

Late afternoon back to harbor and transfer to hotel.​
