Flamencos Altiplano Eco Hotel

Located on the shores of Laguna Hedionda at 4,115 m.a.s.l., a 3 and a half hour trip in a 4x4 vehicle, 220 km away from Uyuni, the favorite habitat of the Flamingos. Surrounded by altiplanic nature and sheltered by imposing mountains confluent with the Cordillera Real of the Andes. Blessed by the medicinal and therapeutic waters contained in the lake for rheumatic ailments, the effects of the mineralogical composition make the breathable air does not produce effects of altitude sickness but on the contrary the tranquility and peace to enjoy the benefits of the place.

Construction inspired by indigenous motifs, such as the Andean cross. The ecological hotel owes its name to the song of countless flamingos that, in the surroundings, create an unimaginable natural environment.

Flamencos Altiplano Eco Hotel has rooms for its visitors: Single, Double, Triple and Suites, all equipped with private bathrooms, our guests can take a hot shower with water emanating from natural springs extracted directly from the subway of the lagoon, the most advisable is to take the shower in the afternoon.

We have electricity from solar panels in common areas of 12 volts (only for illumination).

From 18:00 to 22:00 hours 220 volts electric power (time to charge cameras, cell phones, etc).

Central heating with radiators: This heating system works with electric energy 220.-V. for environmental reasons and preservation because it is a desert area, it works from 18:00 to 22:00 and in the mornings from 06:00 to 08:00.

Visitors can enjoy a unique "cosmic dinner" and accompany it with an exquisite coca liquor in its Restaurant "LOS VOLCANES".
