After breakfast, meet your guide for the guided tour of Canale di Tenno and Rango.
Canale di Tenno and Rango are in the association "Borghi più Belli d'Italia", thanks also to the numerous events that enhance their beauty, art and food and wine products.
In Canale di Tenno, after taking a walk through the streets of the village (stone houses, galleries overlooking silent streets, barrel vaults and geraniums that color windows and balconies...), we recommend a stop at the Casa degli Artisti which , in addition to its collection of works, hosts exhibitions and cultural events. A stone's throw away is the Agricultural Tools Museum: the museum is the best place to understand the hard work in the fields: from haymaking to harvesting. Just outside the village there is the statue of the "Vicinia delle Ville del Monte", which recalls the ancient form of autonomous administration that included Canale di Tenno and the surrounding villages.
Just outside the town, about half an hour's walk away, there is the enchanting Lake Tenno: a sapphire colored pearl, a turquoise body of water and with a characteristic island in the centre.
In Rango we recommend getting lost in the narrow streets. In the square there is a beautiful square fountain, where shepherds once brought their herds to quench their thirst. All around, peasant houses with large portals, loggias and wooden racks used for drying corn cobs or hay. They are a typical example of Giudicaria houses: houses with a solid and massive structure.
The next stop leads to the School Museum, where objects and teaching materials from the first half of the twentieth century are preserved.
Return to hotel and overnight stay.
