Day 1: Bogota

Reception and transfer from the International Airport of Bogotá to the hotel of your choice. Overnight.
Day 2: Bogota
Bogota (City tour with Monserrate)
Breakfast. A staff member from the company will meet you at the hotel to take you on a tour around the historic center of the city. The first stop will be at Plaza de Bolivar to walk along the streets and take a close look of the most important buildings of the city, such as the National Capitol, which is the center of the country's legislative life; Casa de los Comuneros; Casa de Nariño, which is the Presidential house; and the Santa Clara Church Museum.
The tour includes a visit to the Gold Museum, which exhibits about 34,000 pieces of metalwork from various Hispanic cultures and if time permits, a tour will be made to the Casa de la Moneda Museum. The tour continues to the iconic symbol of Bogota, the Monserrate Hill rising up to 3,152 above sea level, to visit the sanctuary where you will find the statue of the Lord of Miracles. From there it is possible to enjoy the best view of Bogota.
Duration: About 05 hours approximately.
Operation: The regular service operates from Monday to Saturday starts at 8:00 Hrs.
Gold museum and Quinta de Bolivar are closed on Mondays, instead we visit Museo de Botero and Museo Casa de la Moneda.
The Casa de la Moneda Museum is closed on Tuesdays.
On Sunday, this tour operates subject to availability and upon request.
Day 3: Medellin
Bogota - Medellin
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport as scheduled to take a flight to Medellin (Airfare not included). Reception at the airport, assistance, and transfer to the hotel in Medellin.
Day 4: Medellin
Medellin (Visit Medellin)
At the agreed time, meet at the hotel lobby with one of our representatives to start a wonderful panoramic tour of the city. We will start in the prestigious Poblado area, the financial, hotel and commercial center of the city. We will visit the Nutibara Hill on whose top is the replica of a typical Antioquian village; panoramically we will appreciate the Botanical Garden, the Explora Park, the Parque de los Deseos, the Parque de los Pies Descalzos, the Metropolitan Cathedral and finally we will arrive at the Botero Square where we will find 23 of the exotic outdoor bronze sculptures donated by the Colombian master Fernando Botero. During the tour you will also have a ride on the public transportation system Metro de Medellin, which is a model of mobility in Latin America. At the end of the tour return to the hotel.

Day 5: Medellin
Medellin (El Peñol and Guatapé Dams)
Breakfast. At the agreed time, we met in the hotel lobby with one of our representatives who will guide us to the east of the department. During the tour we will pass through the town of Marinilla, followed by the municipality of El Peñol, which in its history keeps the premeditated flood in 1970 to build the hydroelectric complex being currently a dam of energy importance for Colombia, famous for its boardwalk with attractive green areas, we will also visit the real replica of the Old Peñol, which revives the most emblematic sites before its flooding.
Later we will arrive at "La Piedra del Peñol" a monolith 220 meters high with 740 steps inserted until we reach its top.
We conclude our day's itinerary visiting the beautiful municipality of Guatapé, one of the most colorful towns of Antioquia: called "Town of Zócalos", where you can appreciate the facades of the twentieth century colorful houses, adorned with sockets as a symbol of the customs and trades of its inhabitants. Finally, we will return to your hotel.

Notes: It does not include ascent to the Piedra de Peñol (659 steps), it is optional, and it is paid directly.

Day 6:
Medellin
Breakfast. Pick-up and transfer to the airport as scheduled to take a flight to your destination.
