Reception and transfer from the International Airport of Bogotá to the hotel of your choice. Overnight.
Day 2: Bogota
Bogota (City tour with Monserrate)
Breakfast. A staff member from the company will meet you at the hotel to take you on a tour around the historic center of the city. The first stop will be at Plaza de Bolivar to walk along the streets and take a close look of the most important buildings of the city, such as the National Capitol, which is the center of the country's legislative life; Casa de los Comuneros; Casa de Nariño, which is the Presidential house; and the Santa Clara Church Museum. The tour includes a visit to the Gold Museum, which exhibits about 34,000 pieces of metalwork from various Hispanic cultures and if time permits, a tour will be made to the Casa de la Moneda Museum. The tour continues to the iconic symbol of Bogota, the Monserrate Hill rising up to 3,152 above sea level, to visit the sanctuary where you will find the statue of the Lord of Miracles. From there it is possible to enjoy the best view of Bogota.

Gold Museum and Quinta de Bolívar are closed on Mondays, instead we visit Museo de Botero and Museo Casa de la Moneda.
The Casa de la Moneda Museum is closed on Tuesdays.

Day 3: Bogota
Bogota (Salt Cathedral Tour)
A staff member from the company will meet you at the hotel, either in the morning or the afternoon, to take you on a tour through La Sabana de Bogota to the town of Zipaquira, which name means "city of our Father" in the language of the Chibcha. Back in pre-Columbian times, salt around the area was the most important commodity and the ‘salt cakes’ were the only currency for trading. Over time, technology improved and the muiscas began to extract larger amounts of salt. As a result, an underground salt deposit was formed and it is where the Salt Cathedral was built, 180 meters below the surface.
Inside, there is a chapel, “capilla de los mineros” built as a tribute to the Virgin “Our Lady of the Rosary of Guasá” (Guasá means "mine" in Chibcha).
At the end, return to Bogotá. This tour is not recommended for persons with mobility restrictions.

Day 4: Pereira
Bogota - Pereira (Coffee Region)
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport as scheduled to take a flight to Pereira. Arrival at Matecaña Airport in Pereira. Reception and transfer to and from the chosen hotel in the Coffee Zone. Check-in and accommodation.
Day 5: Pereira
Pereira “COFFEE REGION” Interactive Coffee Process”
Breakfast. Assistance and transfer in private service from the hotel to “Finca del Café” farm located in the municipality of Santa Rosa de Cabal in Risaralda. Once in the farm, with the company of a local expert we ́ll explore the special coffee plantations and we ́ll learn all about the coffee process: the sowing, the selective manual harvest and the depulped. Then, we ́ll toast some coffee grains in a wood stove in the kitchen of a typical peasant house, this is an authentic coffee experience. The tour continues through different stations with viewpoints to admire the beautiful landscape and the natural environment while we enjoy a cup of coffee. Finally, we ́ll observe the innovative process of coffee drying and we ́ll finish drinking a coffee lemonade in the principal house of the farm. Transfer to return to the hotel or you ́ll can connect with other additional touristic activity of the region.

Day 6: Pereira
Pereira (Coffee Region - Cocora Valley and Salento Village)
Breakfast. Assistance and transfer in private service to Cocora Valley enjoying the beautiful landscape. First, we'll have a welcome cocktail “Canelazo” and with the assistance of a specialist eco-guide we'll be ready to start the introduction to the natural reserve of Cocora. Then, we'll go to the fog ́s forest a place to admire the biodiversity of fauna and flora. There, we ́ll find the highest wax palm of the world and we ́ll connect with the earth doing a special ritual planting some palms.
Then, we ́ll go to the typical village of Salento where we ́ll have a walking tour visiting its colonial streets, craft workshops and the principal viewpoint. Typical Lunch and transfer to return to the hotel or you will can connect with other additional touristic activity of the region.

Day 7: Medellin
Pereira - Medellín
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport as scheduled to take a flight to Medellin. Reception at the airport, assistance, and transfer to the hotel in Medellin.

Day 8: Medellin
Medellin (Visit Medellin)
At the agreed time, meet at the hotel lobby with one of our representatives to start a wonderful panoramic tour of the city. We will start in the prestigious Poblado area, the financial, hotel and commercial center of the city. We will visit the Nutibara Hill on whose top is the replica of a typical Antioquia village; panoramically we will appreciate the Botanical Garden, the Explora Park, the Parque de los Deseos, the Parque de los Pies Descalzos, the Metropolitan Cathedral and finally we will arrive at the Botero Square where we will find 23 of the exotic outdoor bronze sculptures donated by the Colombian master Fernando Botero. During the tour you will also have a ride on the public transportation system Metro de Medellin, which is a model of mobility in Latin America. At the end of the tour returned to the hotel.

Day 9: Medellin
Medellin (El Peñol and Guatapé Dams)
Breakfast. At the agreed time, meeting in the hotel lobby with one of our representatives who will guide us to the east of the department. During the tour we will pass through the town of Marinilla, followed by the municipality of El Peñol, which in its history keeps the premeditated flood in 1970 to build the hydroelectric complex being currently a dam of energy importance for Colombia, famous for its boardwalk with attractive green areas, we will also visit the real replica of the Old Peñol, which revives the most emblematic sites before its flooding.
Later we will arrive at “La Piedra del Peñol” monolith 220 meters high with 740 steps inserted until we reach its top.
We conclude our day's itinerary visiting the beautiful municipality of Guatapé, one of the most colorful towns of Antioquia: called "Town of Zócalos", where you can appreciate the facades of the twentieth century colorful houses, adorned with sockets as a symbol of the customs and trades of its inhabitants. Finally, we will return to your hotel.

Medellin - Cartagena
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport as scheduled to take a flight to Cartagena. Reception and transfer from the International Airport of Cartagena to the hotel of your choice. Overnight.
Day 11: Cartagena
Cartagena (City Tour with Castillo San Felipe)
Breakfast. You will meet one of our representatives at your hotel to begin a panoramic tour of Cartagena de Indias at the agreed time to begin a wonderful tour of this museum city whose streets and surroundings show the charm of its architecture colonial, republican and modern. During the circuit, you will pass through the modern area of Bocagrande and the Manga neighborhood, where the contrast between the republican architecture and its modern buildings will surprise you. Then you will visit the Castle of San Felipe de Barajas, that it was built in 1657, with which the Spanish sought to defend themselves from English attacks in the seventeenth century; And of course, it will be unmissable to take a brief walk through “the historic center of the city” which in 1984, together with the San Felipe Castle and the set of fortifications, were included by UNESCO on the list of World Heritage Sites.
To end the tour and before returning to your hotel, taking advantage of your stay in the country that produces the highest quality emeralds in the world, you will visit the Emerald Museum, there you will learn about the evolution of the rarest, most valuable mineral and, at the same time, the most exclusive in the world.

Day 12: Cartagena
Cartagena (Beach Tour)
Breakfast. Leaving La Bodeguita Pier by speedboat to the chosen island, there you can enjoy the coral beaches and a variety of reef fauna, ideal for resting or taking some optional activities such as diving, snorkeling, hiking, among others. Below you can find the details of each island:
Isla del Encanto: In the Islas del Rosario national park, located approximately 45 minutes by boat from Cartagena, you can enjoy the beach and social spaces designated for Day Tour visitors that have chairs, lounge chairs, and sun loungers; also, you can do optional activities if you want or just enjoy the Colombian Caribbean Sea in this area. During the day you will enjoy a typical semi buffet lunch served with options of fish, chicken, and meat.
Includes: Shared boat transfer Cartagena - Isla del Encanto - Cartagena (non-exclusive), lunch Parrillada Buffet (including a non-alcoholic drink.)

The usual: Passengers must appear at the La Bodeguita pier no later than 08:15 a.m., the usual return from the Island to Cartagena is at 15:00 p.m. (depending on weather conditions, the departure may vary at approximately 14:30 p.m.).
Restrictions: Excursion not allowed for pregnant women or people with spinal problems or surgeries because to the movements of the boat. Pets and people in a state of intoxication are not allowed access to the boats.
