DAY OF THE DEAD OAXACA

During this excursion at Oaxaca we will visit the old Zapoteca capital that was built in a hill set located to 9 km of the city of Oaxaca, in where we will admire the Great Seat, with its ceremonial buildings, between that emphasize: the Game of Ball, Building S or Palace of Monte Albán the South Platform - in whose inferior angles retorts of the wakes found in situ- are observed the call “Observatory” or Building J, unique in its species in Mesoamerica, Systems IV and M and, among them, the imposing Platform of Los Danzantes, which was originally adorned with more than three hundred stelae of the type that gives them their name.

Enjoy this wonderful night tour on October 31, visiting 2 relevant pantheons of Oaxaca, the first one is Santa Cruz Xoxocotlan, where it will be part of this tradition, among tombs, copal, music and color the souls of the dead will celebrate; later we will move to the second pantheon called Atzompa located in a community in the Central Valleys where you will observe the believing settlers who rest in the pantheon throughout the night accompanying and living with their dead relatives; you will live the authentic tradition of the Day of the Dead among the aromas of flowers and a candle that is perceived at all times.

Live the Oaxacan tradition in a town in Etla about an hour from downtown Oaxaca where you will enjoy a dance troupe along with the people of the community who wear their costumes living the magic of the festivities of All Saints' Day. This typical Etla festival called "La Muerteada", will allow you to live a great experience full of tradition and color.
